Lots of songs, the best ones within!Reviewed by Wanthuyr Zanotti, 2010-02-06
This is a great Bly-Ray title, it contains lots of Elton's tunes of all over his career, including the terrific "Empty Garden". The video/image quality is awesome as well as the sound. Much recommended.

Elton John at its bestReviewed by Happy, 2009-12-28
I first saw this concert on TV and immediately ordered the dvd.
Elton John is as usual absolutely great, but what make this concert
so special and unforgettable is the electric atmosphere in the room
generated by the huge crowd of fans including known one. You cannot
not envy them for being lucky to have been there.....
Elton John is happy and it shows. The performance is well
orchestrated and played. There is so many mixed feelings of
tenderness, fun, love and sadeness that it is contagious and you
can only go with the mood.
It is a MUST to have and enjoy....
Super Music, Get the BluRay If You CanReviewed by RayInSeattle, 2009-12-27
Elton John performs songs from every era of his long career on his
60th birthday in NYC.
Pros:
Fantastic music. Great bluesy additions to many songs such as
"Rocket Man" make them significantly stronger.
Tribute to John Lennon is touching.
On the BluRay the picture is close to perfect. The camera
intentionally focuses for long periods on the performers and,
although there are shots of famous people in the audience, these
are limited.
Cons:
Only "Daniel" seemed a little thin as performed.
The birthday tribute in the middle of the concert is well intended
but a distraction from the great concert. The confetti that is left
on the piano after the tribute really bothers Sir Elton (watch for
this).
Bottom Line:
I have purchased 10 BluRay concerts in the last 6 months. All
highly rated. This is the best among them.
